As part of their centrifuge supply framework agreement, MSE Hiller in the UK have installed and commissioned two DP58-422 BD centrifuges at Fazakerley Waste Water Treatment Works for United Utilities, Liverpool.

United Utilities provide water and sewage services to some seven million people in the North West of Britain. The Fazakerley plant was required to dewater 100 m3 per hour of limed sludge prior to storage in silos ready for transport.

Working with United Utilities framework engineering partner GCA, the machines were delivered, installed and commissioned on time and to budget.

The performance trials have now been completed and the machines are performing well within their guarantee figures.

“This is in line with our quality performance indicators and our ‘no nonsense’ approach to supplying our customers” said MSE Hiller Managing Director, Ivan Fomin.

MSE Hiller currently supply and hold Framework agreements for the supply of centrifuges to United Utilities, Northumbrian Water and South Staffs Water PLC’s., and are close to signing a further framework agreement with another major UK water company.
